(June 8, 2022)

Shortly after the release of Volume 1, we knew we wanted to keep digging.

We announced our first public call for artists, opening the project beyond our immediate circle and into something larger.

One of our early goals was to bring color into the magazine. With that came new challenges, new learning curves, and a deeper understanding of what this could become.

This volume was created during a two-week trip to Kansas City. Working in a new environment shifted our perspective. In the middle of the country, new energy and new ways of seeing art began to emerge.

From the beginning, we believed each volume should carry its own story. That curation mattered. That how the work lived together on the page was just as important as the work itself.

Everything felt new. Everything felt possible.

When we finally sent it to print, the first run of 50 copies was waiting for us back home. And the next part of the journey was already beginning to take shape.
