Come experience the art in person. The gallery showcase features over 40 artists from Volume 6, a live DJ set, and a collaborative mural open for all to paint on. Free community copies of the magazine will be available at the event while supplies last.

The Awakening is a community driven art magazine dedicated to amplifying creative voices through print.

About the Magazine:
Volume 6 is our most ambitious issue yet. It is a double sided, flip book style publication showcasing work from 74 artists across Oxnard, Ventura County, and beyond. Each side features a distinct curation of bold, boundary pushing work that speaks to transformation, resistance, identity, and connection.

This issue captures what is often unseen but deeply felt and brings it to the page.

Giving Back to the Community:
We’re printing and giving away 200 free 6 x 9-inch copies of Volume 6 to spaces across Ventura County. We believe art should be in people’s hands, not just behind paywalls.
